about

Recorded in Hebden Bridge between January and August 2015.

This album is brought to you by the numbers 12 and 28.

On the album, Colin performs on a wide variety of electronic devices, an electric guitar, a 6-string bass, a fretless bass, cymbals and vocals. And possibly a didgeridoo. But he doesn't use any computers.

Released to coincide with the New Moon in Virgo - which just happens to be on the 12th.

"Rest assured, kids. Colin Robinson has a very deep bag of tricks. Open an ear. You won't be sorry. He's a fucking genius. The first track sounds like chocolate." – Craig Ewert

"Cool mix of acoustic, electronic and voices ... you da man, Colin." – Steve Barber

" An uber-cool blend of New Wave-informed funk, dub, spacey electronica and a touch of 90s psychedelia.
Imagine a monster collab between Funkadelic, Talking Heads & Ozrics, with Phil Oakey as guest vocalist....
Got that? Now stir in plenty of juicy analogue synths, square wave guitars, 80s drum machines, ambient textures & worldbeat rhythms." - Gordon Midgley

"a multi-faceted sculpture of repeating, twisted musical themes. If Gaudi had been a composer he would have been writing stuff like this. Robinson is part mad professor part kid in a candy store." - Hans Werksman, Here Comes The Flood weblog

"such a great and interesting musician" - Incendiary Magazine

"The trance you might have dreamed is now made real in music. A spell pouring out of the speakers and firing neurones that may be forgotten. Listen up!" - Michael Blackwood

""Colin Robinson has great energy, a great mind, and a deeply poetic soul." - Livia Monteleone, Music In The Mail radio

"It is primarily an exploration of texture, and employs melody accordingly, in luminous, astringent skeins of harmonic gossamer that are draped across the music’s bones like mist, or in playful jabs of riff... a strange, often experimental record, but a very enjoyable and approachable one, with deep grooves and a joyful way with sound." - Oliver Arditi
