about

This enhanced live album was created by taking the live stereo mixes from the Nutclough Tavern gig and soundcheck, syncing them to my multi-track and added extra instruments.

Extra instrumentation recorded elsewhere in Hebden Bridge, August 2017.

"there's lots of funky sounds reminiscent of T-Heads, Ambient goodies like you get with Brian Eno and a real Frippian sense as well." - Michael Inman

"All the post-show fiddling never gets in the way of the instantaneous compositions. Robinson laid the foundations and built the walls right in front of the audience." - Hans Werksman, Here Comes The Flood weblog

"the stupidly talented weird ear imagination of Jumble Hole Clough... the watchword here is smoking for here are to be found the spraying of funked out mellowness interspersed with soft sheens of tripped out psych toning... there’s the jazz doodled early 70’s wigginess of the beardy off its box smokiness that is ’unlucky man’ to flap your flares and sideburns to, certainly something which unless these ears do deceive, had us much minded of a youthful Herbie Hancock... 'notes in the margins' deliriously demurred with nods aplenty to the whisper like dreamy tones found lurking on Brian Eno’s ‘another green world’ - Mark Barton, The Sunday Experience

"your song 'I shuddered like a horse' came on the Aquarian Moons radio show and hit a nerve ... Very refreshing, well done Colin" - Chris Gill, Band of Rain

This album is No.9 in Here Comes The Flood weblog's Best Albums of 2017 list.
