about

Recorded in Hebden Bridge during January and February 2019; all pieces created by Colin Robinson.

"Sly Bill Hare" was transcribed from a live improvisation at the Golden Lion in Todmorden on 7th February 2019; thanks to Anthony Donovan for staging the event and to Mick Ryan for filming me and giving me the inspiration for this piece.

Cover photo taken by Colin Robinson at Ponden (above Haworth, West Yorkshire).

"These are 17 well thought out and arranged oddities that will take you places elsewhere" - Jon du Bose

"Just finished listening and I absolutely love it - one of the best albums I've heard for ages" - Darren Squires

"OMG it's Jumble's Commercial Album! Move over The Residents! Loving it!" - Dave Pearson

"Love it, Colin. Lots of cool things going on here. 1st impression favorite: You won’t catch a hare by running after it." - Jeff Eacho

"Such a cool album.I really enjoy letting it flow from beginning till end." - Micha Steinbacher

"Robinson is never short on ideas and he can switch between prog, rock and ambient at a moment's notice. Both his dry, factual sense of humour and his childlike curiosity to see the beauty in pretty much anything have served him well. In a parallel universe this album could almost be considered as radio-friendly." - Hans Werksman, Here Comes The Flood weblog

"Very much enjoying this album, wonderfully strange." - Phil South

"Love it. A bag of well produced wacky tunes that remind me of the Residents and their commercial album. Wonderful." - Michael Peters

"Wow never heard of this, love it" - Chaucer Cameron
